Paudie Coffey

Paudie Coffey is a former Minister of State, TD, Senator and Councillor with over 20 years experience as an elected representative, policy maker and legislator.

He is a Managing Partner of Pinnacle Public Affairs Ltd, a company he founded with his colleague Paul Fox in 2020. Pinnacle Public Affairs is a focused, strategy driven Public Affairs Company that is agile and responsive to clients objectives and needs.

Having served as Minister of State in the Department of Environment with responsibility for Housing, Planning and Local Government together with his previous experience as a Councillor and a Spokesperson on Environment and Housing in the Senate Paudie has an in-depth knowledge of how government works at both Local and National Level and a deep understanding of the policy and legislative formation process.

Paudie has built up an extensive network of contacts in the political environment at both Local and National Level and across the political spectrum. He has a deep understanding of how to navigate Local Authorities, Government Departments and State Agencies.

Before entering Public Life Paudie worked for 20 years for ESB Networks and he has a special interest and ability in Utilities, Asset Management, Planning, Property Development and Construction. Paudie is married with three children and is an avid sports fan – he is a former inter county hurler and coach. His pastimes include GAA, Golfing, Hiking and Cycling.

Paudie is also passionate about Community Development and has co-ordinated and project managed many local Community Projects – He is presently Chairperson of Waterford Co Board Walsh Park Redevelopment Committee and Chairperson of his Local Community Enhancement Committee as well as being Honorary Secretary of Carrick on Suir Golf Club.
