Paudie Coffey

Paudie Coffey is a former Minister of State, TD, Senator and Councillor with over 20 years experience as an elected representative, policy maker and legislator.

Having served as Minister of State in the Department of Environment with responsibility for Housing, Planning and Local Government together with his previous experience as a Councillor and a Spokesperson on Environment and Housing in the Seanad Paudie has an in-depth knowledge of how government works at both Local and National Level and a deep understanding of the policy and legislative formation process.

Paudie has built up an extensive network of contacts in the political environment at both Local and National Level and knows how to navigate Local Authorities, Government Departments and State Agencies.Before entering Public Life Paudie worked for 20 years for ESB Networks and therefore he has a special interest and ability in Utilities, Asset Management, Planning, Property Development and Construction.

Paudie is married with three children and is an avid sports fan – he is a former inter county hurler and coach and presently keeps fit by cycling and participating in cycling Sportives.

Paudie is also passionate about Community Development and has co-ordinated and project managed many Community Projects – He is presently Chairman of Portlaw GAA Club and Secretary of the Dr. Martin Day Centre for the Elderly.
